ABOUT ANGELA
30 years experience
In 1988 Angela Turner wanted a challenge for her mind – something more than looking after her young family. After seeing an advertisement for a TAFE open day, she decided to investigate the offerings. There were many courses of varying length and content but only one stood out – it was a bookkeeping certificate course that required 4 hours each Saturday morning for six months to complete. Little did she know the number bug would take hold of her within minutes of commencing the course, and what was intended as a minor diversion to her every-day life would become a life-long journey.
In 2020, Angela is a Chartered Accountant, holds her certificate of Public Practice, is a Registered Tax Agent, has a Bachelor of Financial Administration university degree and owns her own business. All of this equates to you knowing you can trust that Angela has up to date knowledge of the ever-changing tax environment, adheres to a strict Code of Ethics and has first-hand experience of the constraints that go with the territory of owning your own business.
Angela has been working in the commerce and taxation profession for over 30 years and has hands on experience in every task between balancing the petty cash to preparing and lodging financial statements and tax returns for multi-million-dollar companies.
Nifti Numbers Accounting Services has been trading for about 10 years, and came into fruition when Angela noticed the significant amount of individuals and business owners alike struggling with the overwhelming need to attend to their tax compliance outside of the traditional office hours.
Do you know the ATO regime?
We understand that the Australian Taxation Regime can be a mine field to the unsuspecting, which is why we take the time to understand the industry you are employed within, or in your business expertise. It is the only way to ensure you are claiming what you are legitimately entitled to when preparing your tax, and that your business is utilising the many incentives relevant to your industry.
If you have outstanding prior year returns, we can help you work through catching up and work as an intermediary between yourself and the ATO. We can also offer an extension of the usual 31st October deadline for your tax return.
Our aim is to alleviate the pressure on you to meet your tax compliance and work with you to take the unknown out of your numbers, leaving you to focus on what you do best.
